Blood donors give more than a quarter-of-a-million units of blood annually to provide a safe and adequate blood supply.

FEEL GOOD. GIVE GLOBALLY.

Donate now through May 22 and support the Global Blood Fund. Just forgo your donor recognition item offered in appreciation for your donation. In turn, Oklahoma Blood Institute will make a monetary contribution of similar value to support the Global Blood Fund.

In this way, donors can doubly give - both by donating life-saving blood used locally, and by assisting blood centers in developing countries with supplies.

Blood centers that have been assisted are located in:

1. Kenya

2. Haiti

3. Tijuana, Mexico

4. Japan

5. Zimbabwe

6. Uganda

7. Georgia

8. Armenia
