OBI's Greatest Needs

Since the Oklahoma Blood Institute was established in 1977, operations in our hospitals have not been cancelled due to an insufficient supply of blood. The work of OBI goes on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that all Oklahomans get the blood they need. Money is always needed to continue to recruit blood donors, buy and maintain processing equipment, and conduct research necessary to keep Oklahoma's blood supply among the safest in the world.
