Help Someone Survive Spring Break Winner
Jen Billings, right, of the Oklahoma Blood Institute, informs local blood donor Amy Huston that she’s won a weeklong Caribbean cruise in the blood bank’s “Help Someone Survive Spring Break” promotion. About 30,000 people donated during the statewide drive in February and March, and Huston’s name was the one drawn for the prize, presented Tuesday by the blood bank and Cruises Inc. Huston, a longtime blood donor, said she regularly donates blood during lunch breaks from her job at the Comanche County Motor License Tag Agency on Southwest 38th Street.

Winner of the 2008 Saturn Vue, John New of Edmond, with Bob Grant (fleet manager for the Bob Moore Saturn Dealership in OKC). John was the second finalist to attempt to start the car.

America’s Blood Centers made an official announcement at the event about “The Saturn Retailer’s Challenge Award (Most Productive)” category in ABC’s annual awards competition. Since the award’s inception in 2003, Bob Moore Saturn has been the winner in the most productive category every year. In honor of this accomplishment, America’s Blood Centers has renamed the award “The Bob Moore Saturn Challenge Award”.

2007 Football Rivalry Winners
Colton Drennan of Ada is the winner of the Football Rivalry 32” LCD HD TV. Colton donated at the Byng High School drive in October. He is now an East Central University student in Ada. The OBI staff at Ada presented Colton with the television during the ECU drive December 5th.

Special promotions at OU and OSU blood drives, two donors were selected to win a tailgating party (food and soda) for 20 people. One person was selected from each of the college drives:
