Doubly Give
Oklahoma Blood Institute depends on community partners to sustain the blood supply. Oklahoma Blood Institute reciprocates by giving back to the community. We are proud to be involved with local chambers of commerce, rotary organizations, and the United Way among many other community partners.
Oklahoma Blood Institute is proud to have founded its Open Arms campaign in 2008.
How It Works:
- Open Arms Campaigns enable blood donors to ‘doubly give’ by forgoing the ‘donor gift’ and in exchange Oklahoma Blood Institute will give a monetary contribution of similar value to an Open Arms partner organization.
- Donors double their life-saving gifts, providing not only blood donation, but also helping local children and their families. Each contribution is significant and quickly adds up.
- Partnerships allow OBI to cultivate long-term relationships to encourage group advocates to give blood.
We believe the groups we have partnered with reinforce the natural alignment between Oklahoma Blood Institute and local humanitarian causes. All provide vital services to area patients.
