We are extremely proud to announce that Our Blood Institute’s Cell Therapy Program has received a zero deficiency inspection from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cell Therapy.

The FACT inspection, completed Dec. 15 after many months of OBI records and procedures reviews concluding with an onsite inspection, represents a three-year extension of accreditation for OBI’s Cell Therapy program, which is composed of Apheresis Collections, Cell Therapy Laboratory, Quality Management and Medical Staff personnel.

“A great deal of hard and thoughtful work has gone into our cell therapy program to prepare for this event,” said OBI President and CEO Dr. John Armitage. “Strategic growth of OBI’s mission into cutting-edge care opportunities has, in effect, just been given a big, green light.”
